Polylobed mortar carved from yellow marble stone, fitted with two lateral handles allowing for easy grip and lifting.

The thick, deep basin was designed for intensive use, most likely intended for the preparation of ointments, spices, or remedies.

It is presented with its conical black marble pestle, forming a harmonious and authentic ensemble.

The surface displays a fine ancient patina, enhanced by traces of wear characteristic of centuries of use.
